MARY LORSON & SAINT LOW - Tricks For Dawn

Enquanto se murmuram as palavras de Long Way Down:

Go ahead and stare the moon is yours, look all you want
The stationary cloud, the only light won’t burn you out
Maybe you were right, I never learned to fight, I just stood in line
In the city down below, the shy kids getting nothing, the time running low
Domino, fate’s lack of judgement led you here to me
Where you choose to ride between the earth, the sky, the sea
In the city we just left, happy fires are burning out there’s nothing but smoke
You go roundtrip in your head but you don’t come home the same and nobody knows
In
I wouldn’t let you and you wouldn’t come
Sin
Covering everything we couldn’t climb
And it’s such a long way down
Slow until you’re going you go fast until you stop
No match is made in heaven we’re just present in the effort
Or not
Heaviness in chest, and the city in your head’s just one of those turns
And the things you remember best, left out of the telling, make you feel worse
In the fanfare we just laughed, spinning wheels were going nowhere, the dizzying reel
And the burning sugar smell
You, in love with someone else…
